How to install
-
Get SAI (Split APKs Installer)
The game comes as an
.apksbundle, which Android can't open by itself. SAI is a free, open-source installer for these bundles. Get it from GitHub or F-Droid. -
Uninstall the Play Store version
If Pokémon UNITE from Google Play is installed, uninstall it first. The two can't be installed side by side.
Uninstalling removes the game's local data from your phone, such as settings and downloaded game files.
- Download the client Use the Download button above. The file is over 1 GB, so Wi-Fi is a good idea.
-
Install it with SAI
Open SAI, tap Install APKs, and pick the file you downloaded. If Android asks, allow SAI to install
unknown apps. If Play Protect warns you, choose Install anyway.
SAI then shows this screen. Make sure every box is ticked, then tap Install. The "This app is huge" warning is normal. Installing can take a few minutes, so keep SAI open until it finishes. -
Wait for the green ReUnited button, then sign in
Open Pokémon UNITE. On the title screen, wait until a small green ReUnited button appears on screen
before you sign in. It can take up to half a minute.
If you sign in before the green button shows, the game connects to the official server instead. If that happens, close the game fully and open it again.Your first sign-in creates a new trainer on the ReUnited server.
Questions
- Does my progress from the official game carry over?
- No. ReUnited is a separate server, so everyone starts with a new trainer.
- How do I update?
- Download the new version and install it with SAI the same way. It installs over the old one: no need to uninstall, and your trainer stays.
- Which devices work?
- Android phones and tablets (64-bit and 32-bit ARM), and the BlueStacks emulator. There is no iOS version.
- Is everything in the game working?
- Not yet. The server is still being built and some features may be missing or behave differently from the official game.
